Amazing toy Posted 06 September 2010 This was a great present for my younger brother although he was not that impressed by it but i was.
The charge does not last that long for the helicopter but it is really fun to fly although slightly difficult.
The truck is really boring compared to flying the helicopter
Excellent Toy for the boys Posted 01 June 2010 It is smaller that I imagined, but it works as described and the two boys have really enjoyed playing with it.
how to keep your man happy Posted 22 January 2010 Bought this for my other half as a surprise Christmas pressie after seing it reviewed on 'The Gadget Show' on channel 5.He had wanted it ever since.
He is 38 going on 12 and I have not seen him grin from ear to ear like that since our son was born (and that was the first time). It keeps him quiet for as long as the batteries stay charged (about 20 minutes of flying time)and our son loves to watch too.
It was not as big as I had imagined and you have to be careful when practicing with the helicopter initially as it feels a bit flimsy, but is actually quite robust (having watched some of the crashes it has had).
Overall, it is definately a MUST HAVE boys toy.Honestly girls, buy this and you will have him eating out of your hands!!!
Let down Posted 20 January 2010 I would have loved to make a constructive review of this product IF it had arrived as I had paid for!
Ordered as a Christmas present for my grandson, with deLivery promised for December 21st 2009.
Tracing the order I could see it had arrived at City Link depot in Taff's Well, Cardiff, in time for delivery by 21st, however it never arrived!
Numerous telephone calls, at a cost, resulted in me having to cancell the order on December 28th 2009.
Amazon seemed brilliant as they initially refunded the postage I had paid, and later refunded the purchase amount.
City Link let me and my grandson down big time. I know it snowed around those dates, but a City Link van actually delivered a parcel to a neighbour on December 24th 2009, but my present remained untraceable. Was this present too popular a toy to let go? I'll never know!
My grandson had to make do with a similar, but not as wanted alternative, bought in the high street on Christmas Eve!
Second time my family has been let down by City Link, so I won't use them again.
Helimission Swat Truck, Great Fun!!! Posted 15 January 2010 Great fun toy, my 9 year old son loves it so did the 40+ men in my office that i work with, so fun for all ages!!
It seems pretty durable too, the helicopter has fallen from some great heights & is still in one piece, its quite easy to control once you get the hang of it.
