Bought as a gift which has not been opened yet, but it looks most intriguing and hope it will be popular with the recipient.

Murder Mystery Dinner Party

We used this on New Year's Eve. A Murder Mystery Dinner Party is great fun. Each guest is informed of the character they will play via a printed invitation. Everyone is asked to dress in character/period to add to the atmosphere of the evening. The more everyone enters into the spirit of the game, the more fun it is. The host has a booklet of instructions on how to conduct the evening (with a suggestion for a menu) and each guest has their own 'character' booklet, with dialogues and personal information about their character. Improvisation provides greater entertainment. The only down side is that you can only play the game once because you then know who the murderer is!

Excellent Birthday Party choice

This was an inspirational idea for a 12th birthday party, and it was brilliant. You need to be organised as the host and be on hand to guide - there were one or two small typo errors which misled a little, but on the whole it was an enormous success and I would recommend this. All the guests enjoyed it enormously.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday party and it was brilliant! Her friends enjoyed dressing up and i found the theme of the 'murder' not to 'sexy' for a young teens party. They all had a brilliant time and only 1 guest guessed the murderer correctly- kept 8 teens engaged for 3 hours!
